    Hi All,

    I am just wondering how i would go about changing the blog layout for the propulsion theme.

    Ideally i do not want a large image at the top but instead just display a thumbnail image. A good example of what i am after would be the sage blog below.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Jyles,

    You would need to modify the includes>loop-index.php file as well as the post format files within the includes folder for the different post types. As long as you use the theme grid classes it will stay responsive but there will still most likely need to be some css tweaks in addition to the php/html changes.

    Devin

    Hi Devin,

    Thanks for the quick reply, would you be able to provide with an example just to get me started i.e how would i place the featured image inline with the text? The responsive element is disabled anyway so im not sure if that makes things easier?

    Thanks again

    Hi,

    Edit includes > format-standard.php, find this code

    <?php
    $slider = new avia_slideshow(get_the_ID());
    if($slider) echo $slider->display();
    ?>

    Replace it with

    <div class="three units alpha offset-by-three">
    <?php
    $slider = new avia_slideshow(get_the_ID());
    if($slider) echo $slider->display();
    ?>
    </div>

    As you can see, we constrained the slider on three units container and put a left margin using the offset selector.

    You should repeat the process on all post format files. (format- link, gallery, quote)

    Regards,

    Ismael
