    Hi,

    I am trying to change the color of the top banner/ head section of my website http://www.powerredblog.com to red color from grey/black. I read somewhere that we should change bg.png. But this is an image file, where do I change the color? I also tried to change the color through the CSS files, but I guess I am not doing it right. Can you please help me?

    Thank you very much.

    border: 1px solid #333;

    Hey,

    the background (+ its color is an image file): http://powerredblog.com/wp-content/themes/newscast/images/skin1/bg.png

    You can download the file and modify it with Photoshop or Gimp – then upload it again.

    Hi Dude,

    Thank you for the quick reply.. I tried it and it worked! :-) I have another question: What should the size of the pictures in the newscast accordion slideshow be? in pixels? Thank you.

    Hey,

    Kriesi uses 700px x 320px images in the demo (so I think the slider is layed out for this size).

    Hi Dude,

    I have a quick question.. My site is http://powerredblog.com/ and it has an accordion slider.

    1. There is a semi-transparent summary of the post on each slide, which covers most of the image.. How do I reduce the width of the summary on each slide?

    Thank you very much for your help.

    I mean to reduce the height of the summary.. so that only the title of the post is visible. :-)

    Hey,

    add following code to style.css (at the very bottom). Adjust the height value to your needs:

    .slidercontent{
    display: none !important;
    }

    .feature_excerpt{
    height: 100px !important;
    }
