    Hi there,

    Thank you for the excellent theme.

    I have a question, I need the white background (light skin) to be a more greyish colour.

    I have found the following code on the support forum, can I paste this into the quick CSS field to change the background colour of the theme?

    ‘#main .container {

    background: #333;

    }’

    Hey Adeel,

    Yes you can! Let us know if it doesn’t give you the effect you are looking for.

    Hi Devin,

    thank you for your response, I gave it a try and the result is not exactly what I was hoping for.

    It currently changes only the colour behind the text blocks.

    But i need all the whites (background) in the template to be a different colour.

    Is there a more ‘complete’ piece of code that can change all the white into a specific colour

    thanks!

    Hey,

    it would be useful to us to know which areas you’re referring to exactly. Do you have a screenshot or can you provide a link to your site? This way we can provide specific instructions.

    Regards,

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

    Thanks for your response.

    I have made screenshot and coloured the whites I want to change to blue. I hope this helps.

    Hi Adeel,

    First add:

    body{ background: #fff; }

    You can use a tool like Firebug to identify additional elements with background colors you would like to modify and then add those attributes to your Quick CSS or custom.css.

    Here is a quick introduction on Firebug that might help: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/fyi-firebug-tutorial-for-wordpress-users
