    Hi. I’ve embedded a video from Vimeo into one of my Blog posts which worked straight away.
    However the video is appearing at 500px across inside the box which I’ve previously extended to 780px.
    How do I extend the area the embedded video fits into?

    Thanks

    Hi Toluco!

    Can you please give us a link to the page with the vimeo video? We would like to inspect it. Maybe we can extend the inner box area.

    Cheers!

    Hi!

    Change the code to this:
    <iframe src="//player.vimeo.com/video/77854585" width="720" height="405" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe>

    Regards,

    That’s just HTML to change that one video though isn’t it? And I’ve no idea where to enter it.
    I’d like to change the box size to allow any video I post on a blog page to appear at 720px wide.
    Is there some CSS I can add to the ‘Quick CSS’ box?

    Hey!

    Try adding this code to the Quick CSS:

    iframe[src*=vimeo] {
        width: 720px;
        height: 405px;
    }

    That will change the dimensions for all vimeo embeds.

    Cheers!

    Thanks Josue! That’s sorted it!
    I actually used a height of 372px to stop the black bands across the top of the video.
    Thanks.
