    Hi,

    I’d like to try a new font. I suppose I need to upload the font (I use Filezilla) to the WP directories?

    After that, maybe I can preserve the font-size settings, and will only need to change the font name. Is that possible with custom code? I’d rather not start editing the style.css.

    Thank you,

    Regards,

    Yes, exactly. First generate your cufon file here http://cufon.shoqolate.com/generate

    When you generate the font file: you MUST enter “cufon” as font family. Search for the “Use the following value as the font-family of the generated font (optional)” option field and type in “cufon” (without the quotes “”).

    Then upload the font file into the wp-contentthemescoronaframeworkjsfonts folder. The file name should be {fontfamily}.font.js (without spaves, etc.)

    Then open up wp-contentthemescoronaincludesadminregister-admin-options.php and add your new font to the options array:

    "subtype" => array(	'no custom font'=>'',
    'Arvo'=>'arvo__1.3',
    'Bevan'=>'bevan__1.3',
    'Cantarell'=>'cantarell__1.3',
    'Cardo'=>'cardo__1.3',
    'Droid Sans'=>'droidsans__1.3',
    'Inconsolata'=>'inconsolata__1.3',
    'Josefin All Characters'=>'josefine__1.3',
    'Josefin Common Characters'=>'josefine_small__1.3',
    'Kreon'=>'kreon__1.3',
    'Lobster'=>'lobster__1.3',
    'Molengo'=>'molengo__1.3',
    'Oswald'=>'oswald__1.3',
    'Reenie Beanie'=>'reeniebeanie__1.6', //number attached is a font size modifier for very small fonts ( * 1.4)
    'Tangerine'=>'tangerine__2.2',
    'Vollkorn'=>'vollkorn__1.3',
    'Yanone Kaffeesatz'=>'yanonekaffeesatz__1.3'
    ));

    The first value is just the caption – it will be visible in the dropdown on the theme options page (eg “Arvo”). The second value (after =>) consists of the font family name (please use the same name/text you used for {fontfamily} in the file name above) and the value after __ is the font size modifier which helps you to change the font size of the cufon font.

    Thank you, Dude. But this will only change the heading font (via Corona Theme Options), right? What about changing the font for all the text on the website, will I have to edit the style.css?

    Hi,

    You can use the custom.css or Quick CSS

    body {
    font-family: Yanone Kaffeesatz;
    }

    Hi,

    Thank you both but I must be doing something wrong… Only the size of the standard font changes.

    When using code for custom css, then I get a times new roman or similar font, not the Open Sans i have downloaded.

    Any ideas?

    It seems I’m getting to a solution with the Google font plugin. It works to customize specific font types in a theme, without the need to upload them every time.

    Thank you,
