    Is it possible to change the navigation under the videos to go to next video instead of next category? People seem to be confused that there are more videos to watch in each category.

    I would also like to put the description for each video under the video, not on top of it or beside it. Is that possible?

    Thanks!

    I looked through some other posts about ways to make the navigation more clear and they suggested changing the custom.css. I tried this and it didn’t work. I’m new to wordpress, so step by step instructions would be great!

    I mainly want the navigation from one video to the next to be more clear — i.e., larger arrows on either side of the video might be the solution.

    I would also like to put the description for each video under the video, not on top of it or beside it. Is that possible?

    Thanks for your help,

    Hey!

    Our queue system goes by oldest post to newest. Each time you self respond and bump your post it pushes the topic to the end of our queue.

    Moving the text from next to the portfolio entry to under it would need to be done by a freelance developer since you’ll need to modify the single portfolio template and move where the content for the portfolio gets output as well as adjust the grids.

    For the video arrows, you could have them always be on by using this css:

    .ctrl_previous, .ctrl_next {
    height: 30px;
    width: 25px;
    opacity: 1 !important;
    }

    They share a background image and then each class selector has a different background position so changing out the arrow and making it bigger/re-positioning them individually is a bit more difficult to then keep it all responsive but just keeping them visible is usually enough.

    Regards,
    Devin

    Thanks for your response. Can you please walk me through the css edit?

    It’s a bit of an emergency because no one seems to be able to see the navigation arrows or dots on the portfolio page and I’ve recently submitted work. Thanks for your time. I’ll really go with any option that let’s the viewer see that there are more than one video to navigate through. -Erica

    Hi!

    Copy Devin’s code then go to Angular > Styling > paste it in the Quick CSS field . Save changes.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Great, that worked. Can you walk me through changing the single portfolio template and move where the content for the portfolio gets output as well as adjust the grids so that I can put description of each video under the video?

    I really appreciate your help.

    That is beyond what we can do via support unfortunately which is why I mentioned you would need a freelance developer to assist you with that kind of change.

    Ok Thanks. After looking at other sites using this theme, I changed the way it works, which I think is the way it was intended.
    I’m trying to use http://mybelishabeacon.com as an example
    I put the category name on the portfolio items as you advised this person, but how do you make them center?

    Thanks so much! Erica

    Hey Erica!

    Add this code to the Quick CSS:

    .portfolio-cat {
    text-align: center;
    }

    Cheers!
    Josue
