    Great theme. Best I’ve had by far. Congratulations! I would like to change the “LEAVE A REPLY – Want to join the discussion? – Feel free to contribute!” text that appears under the leave a comment box. I also want to remove all the dosh about “You may use these HTML tags and attributes:” that is rather annoying..

    Where can I do this? Thanks for your help!

    Hey,

    in your includes folder in the comments.php file find

    echo "<div class='comment-meta-info'>";
    echo "<h3 class='miniheading'>".__('Leave a Reply','avia_framework')."</h3>";
    echo "<span class='minitext'>".__('Want to join the discussion? <br/>Feel free to contribute!','avia_framework')."</span>";
    echo "</div>";
    echo "<div class='commentform_wrapper'>";
    comment_form();
    echo "</div>";
    ?>

    Replace the text by the text you want :)

    To hide the HTML notice go in your style.css and find

    .form-allowed-tags

    Between the brackets add:

    display: none;

    Thanks a million. Worked just fine!

    Glad that Chris could help you :)

    Hang on! Just noticed that this removes also the names of the fields (Tags) by the firlds for name and email etc!! Hmm, Now what?

    #54249

    Please elaborate – as far as I can see the code Chris posted above is correct and just affects the html tags message underneath the comment form.

    #54250

    Oh yes, jellis — do *please* elaborate. I just used the css version (display none) of this adjustment on a site and if there’s a problem, I need to know more! Thanks in advance.

    The code I provided should work fine. It can’t break anything code-wise. It only hides the extra comment info :)

    did all of above. works fine BUT it leaves the line “You may use these HTML tags and attributes:” just after the comment box. Where do i remove that line of copy? tx very much

    Hi,

    adding this should do the trick:

    .form-allowed-tags {
    display:none;
    }

    Hi there,

    did the same and it worked in my blog too – thank you all. The only thing which is annoying is:

    The phrases next to the checkboxes “Notify me of follow-up ….” is

    a) still in english – can’t find the file where to translate

    b) the text is in the very right – so the text isn’t readable at all

    Could you please help with this?

    Thnx

    Marco

    I was wondering the same thing. The “Notify me..” text is justified to the right, and the check boxes are justified to the left.

    @jellis, if you want to keep the left side “want join the discussion” , when you put display:none , than simply remove “minitext,” from the line

    #comments span, .minitext, .form-allowed-tags, #reply-title small, #commentform label{

    peace

    Hi,

    sorry for the delay,

    you can solve the justifying issue by adding this to your custom.css

    .comment-subscription-form label {
    left: 15px ! important;
    top: -8px ! important;
    }
    .comment-subscription-form{margin-top:3px;}

    I believe the file to translate those two lines can be found in the BB-Press plugin.
