    Hi there

    I think this is going to be the last question! When you select catagory search from the catagory search widget, the widget will only show post catagories to search, my questioon, is it possible to switch the catagory search from post to portfolio catagory.

    Hi!

    Probably not because the “catagory search widget” just supports categories and not terms/taxonomies. I’d recommend to contact the plugin author and ask him add support for custom taxonomies/terms.
