    Hello

    I have specific archive pages set up for each blog category, which are standalone and not the normal category loop. I want to change the category link at the end of each post to go to those pages, a different link for each category.

    I know the code to remove but I don’t seem to be able to add a simple link in without it breaking the page.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Iain,

    At the bottom of each format-*post type*.php, lines 93-99, you can replace the:

    $cats = get_the_category();
    if(!empty($cats))
    {
    echo '<span class="blog-categories minor-meta">'.__('posted in ','avia_framework');
    the_category(', ');
    echo ' </span>';
    }

    with a php closing tag( its the ?> a bit below there) and add your own html link+div to go to the archive page you want. You could even write your own “if” with the is_category tag to have the link display be specific to the category of the post.

    see: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/is_category

    Regards,

    Devin
