    hi,

    I do need some help re: product image re-sizing. I am currently using the theme and have pages with full width slider and fullsize feature images on these pages, and also the Woocommerce shopping cart working on same site. My aim is the resize the single product image on the product page to portrait shape if possible.

    From other forum posts I assume that the Propulsion theme overrides the image size functionality in the Woocommerce Catalog tab settings in WP? Not too sure which of these image sizes mentioned below in this Propulsion function.php file will ‘only change the Single Product Image’ on the Product Page without affecting any other images that are displayed on other website pages and fullsize slider? -

    ********************************

    //register additional image thumbnail sizes that should be generated when user uploads an image:

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>36, ‘height’=>36 ); // small preview pics eg sidebar news

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>630, ‘height’=>999, ‘crop’=>false); // big images for post format image and gallery posts

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>930, ‘height’=>930, ‘crop’=>false); // big images for lightbox and portfolio single entries

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>930, ‘height’=>340); // images for fullsize pages and fullsize slider

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>450, ‘height’=>335); // images for portfolio entries (2,3,4 column)

    //dynamic columns

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>446, ‘height’=>151); // images for 2/4 (aka 1/2) dynamic

    portfolio columns when using 3 columns

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>609, ‘height’=>210); // images for 2/3 dynamic portfolio

    columns

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>688, ‘height’=>151); // images for 3/4 dynamic portfolio

    columns

    *******************************************

    Could you also advise if any other files will need to be altered? thank you.

    Hi jude44,

    I think you can find that option to change the size of the image in: WooCommerce > Settings > Catalog > Catalog Images(Under Image Options), change the height and width of the image and save changes.

    However, I think what you might be looking for is changing it to 5 columns so the products would show in the products page as portrait. Try to go to: Woocommerce > Settings > Pages and change the Column Count(under Column and Product Count) to 5. Hope this would help. :)

    Hi Ismael,

    Thank you very much, changing to 5 columns really helped and products are displaying portrait-wise now on the All Products Page.

    Unfortunately I still can’t get the Single Product image to change to portrait on the individual Product details page. I have changed the WC settings under Catalog/Image Options/Single Product Image to 450width x 600height, saved and started from scratch with new uploaded images so nothing needs to be regenerated, but it still stays as the default dimensions. It does say in the WC image settings that the “display on the front-end will still be affected by CSS styles”, so am assuming this is where I need to make some changes – could you point me in the right direction if this is correct and where to do this at all?

    Thanks for any help in advance.

    Hi jude44,

    Go to: wp-contentthemespropulsionfunctions.php and find this line of code:

    $avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] = array('width'=>450, 'height'=>335);

    and replace it with:

    $avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] 		 	= array('width'=>450, 'height'=>600);

    Then add this code in your Quick CSS or custom.css:

    .prev_image_container .slideshow {
    height: 600px !important;
    }

    After this is done, you will really need to regenerate/re-upload those images. Hope this would help. :)

    Regards,

    Ismael
