Is it possible to change the hover of "Read More" on the thumbnail of my product to "SOLD OUT" or something similar?

Hi rawkus17,

If I understand correctly, you want to change the "Read More" text when you mouseover the link? I'm not entirely sure that's possible given the thumbnail mouseover that's already occurring in the theme. I'll send this post to Kriesi though to confirm.

By the way, you mentioned "Read More" which I believe was changed in a recent update (about 4 weeks ago) to "Show Details". Do you have the latest version of Abundance?

I am refering to the "Read More" which comes up in place of the "Add to Cart" when an item as gone out of stock.

Hi,

I tried to reproduce the problem. I created a product and change the stock status to "out of stock", on the front end it actually says "Out of Stock".. Did you edit some files?

I have done some tweaking to the css. But I don't believe I've changed any other files. I have been using this theme for awhile and it has always been this way.

Hi rawkus17,

What version of the theme are you using currently? You might need to download an update from your themeforest Downloads (in the same way you first downloaded the theme).

I have updated to the most recent version now and this issue is still here. Is there something in the code that tells "Products" to display as "Read More" like a blog post that can be specifically to say "Out of Stock"? Or something similar?

Hello,

Maybe the file you are looking for is add-to-cart.php which is located on wp-content > plugins > woocommerce > templates > loop folder. Please give it a try.
