    Hey guys, I’m hoping you can help me. I’m trying to change the ‘Sale’ sticker to read ‘Sold’ instead.

    I’ve had a look in various files but not sure where this is being pulled from.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi Eric,

    There may be a filter for it but I don’t know if offhand and my google searches just now didn’t find anything either. I’ll tag Peter on the topic to see if he knows it, but otherwise you could dig through the WooCommerce plugin and you should be able to find the function for it.

    Regards,

    I checked the code in wp-contentpluginswoocommercetemplatesloopsale-flash.php and it seems like you can use a filter to change the content. Add following code to the bottom of functions.php

    add_filter('woocommerce_sale_flash', 'avia_change_sale_content', 10, 3);
    function avia_change_sale_content($content, $post, $product){
    $content = '<span class="onsale">'.__( 'Sale!', 'woocommerce' ).'</span>';
    return $content;
    }

    and replace Sale! with your custom text.
