How do I adjust the styling on the category pages? It defaults to the pages archive on the right but I want it to look like the other pages with the product categories on the left.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

As far as I know it’s not possible to display the product categories on standard pages or archives. They’ll only load on shop pages. You can try to use the woocommerce widgets though – maybe a widget also works on standard pages too.

    @ Dude,

Create a page and use this woocommerce shortcode:

[product_category category="write here the name of your product category you want to display" per_page="12" columns="4" orderby="date" order="desc"]

or you can create a page and overwrite the default page layout with a dynamic template you created under the template builder which should include the element “products”.

This way you can add product categories to any page you want..

    @ dancouto,

Create a separate custom menu displaying your product categories and then add the custom menu widget selecting your newly created menu and add it to the sidebar pages (left) or to displayed everywhere (left). Then overwrite the specific page / dynamic template layout you want to edit to use the left sidebar.
