Hello, wonderful theme! But two problems / questions:
1. How can i change the language in german? There is no "lang" folder in the theme as i readed in the forum.
2. The featured image doesn't work. When i will set the featured image, i insert an image and click on "insert image as additional image", but nothing happens. Do i have the false chmod permissions anywhere?
You can also answer me in german, if possible, so i maybe do understand more ;-)

(My german isn't great but I'll try).
1) Sie können die Sprache ändern wie Dude hier beschriebt.
2) Gewöhnlich bekommen Sie ein "Featured Image" wenn Sie ein Bild beifügen mit Add Featured Image? > Insert Image > Insert Image as additional Featured Image. Vergessen Sie nicht die Post zu "updaten".

1) But i don't have a lang-folder in the theme and even no default.po file. Where is this file or where can i get it? I have searched in the forum and found one for the habitat theme. I translated it with poedit and saved as de-DE.po and de-DE.mo in a lang-folder i created but nothing changed...
2) I followed this steps, but when i click on "Insert image a additional featured image" nothing happens. No error, no success, nothing.. I can give you access to the site so you can test it?

1) Just add the de-DE.po and de-DE.mo files to the main theme directory (wp-content/themes/habitat). Make sure that you're using the German version of WordPress: http://de.wordpress.org/
2) Please create me a wp admin account and send me the login data to: kriesi2000-dude@yahoo.com - I'll look into it.
