    I would like for the Pages column in the footer to only display the top level pages created from the menu on the top … not all the created pages. Is it possible to have this occur? I will be creating about 20 or more pages and do not want a list of all those pages across the bottom of the footer making the footer very long / tall.

    You should be able to do that without coding: at appearance->widgets add the widgets you want to the footer, I would recommend to use 4 of them, just like in the theme demo. If you choose the Pages widget you can then exclude pages based on their id ;)


    what if you are creating so many pages. That will mean a lot of page id to exclude. how about page id to include instead?



    The page widget is a standard wordpress widget. You can’t modify it without hacking the core files. However I’m sure you can find advanced page widgets here:
