    How do I go about changing the opacity of the inner white boxes without affecting the text? I want to change the opacity to like 60% or so. Is there a way to do it using a transparent image? Or is there another recommended way to do so? Thanks!

    Hi altiusmike,

    I think you can do it by creating a white image in photoshop (can be as little as 1×1 px), set its opacity to 60% and save it as png file. Upload the image to your site and add this code to your Quick CSS:

    .box {
    background: url('the_url/the_image.png') repeat;
    }

    Just change the url. Hope this helps. :)

    Great! How do I target just the white content boxes and not the opacity of the left sidebar (menu part)?

    Thanks!

    Also, how do I target my right sidebar (the widgets sidebar) to be opaque as well? Essentially, I want all of the white content boxes/sidebars to be opaque except for the left menu sidebar. Is that possible? Thanks!

    Lastly, is it possible to have rounded corners for my white content boxes? If so, how do I go about doing that? Thanks a bunch!

    Sorry, one more: is there a way to remove the little white box that shows up on the top right corner of my portfolio entries (that has the date and # of comments and what category the portfolio entry is in)? Thanks!

    Another question: the hover on my left sidebar menu isn’t changing colors when I hover over my menu’s links. Any idea why that might be? Thanks!

    Hello,

    To create transparency and rounded corners you can do this

    .content .box {
    background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.8);
    border-radius: 10px;
    }

    To remove the meta box

    .template-single-blog .blog-meta {
    display: none;
    }

    There are some fonts which are transformed into cufon text and there are issues on how to create hover effect with them. Please try to use different font with the menus on Theme Options > Styling.

    Thanks so much! How do you round the corners of the “mini-content” boxes? Thanks!

    You’re awesome! Is there a way to make the right sidebar transparent too (the white sidebar with all of the widgets)? Thanks!

    hi again, I have another question: is there a way to not make the whole left sidebar transparent? I would like the left menu nav to be transparent, but not the long column that’s in between the left menu sidebar and the bottom left controls for the background slideshow. let me mj now if what I’m saying is confusing. thanks! essentially I don’t want that left column that’s already pretty transparent to be affected. Thanks!

    Hello,

    To make a rounder corner content box. You can do this

    .content .box {
    border-radius: 10px;
    }

    To make the widget area or right sidebar transparent, just add this

    .inner_sidebar .widget {
    background: rgba(255, 255, 255, .5);
    }

    Can you post a link?

    Regards,

    Ismael
