Hi there.
I changed functions.php to change the site’s url by adding after the initial “<?php” line:
update_option( ‘siteurl’, ‘http://mysite.com’ );
update_option( ‘home’, ‘http://mysite.com’ );

But after that I wasn’t able to reach my site. I erased the lines I added and uploaded functions.php again but it didn’t work.

Also, can you tell me how to change my site’s url?

Can you help me? Thanks in advance.

Hi Enrique,

Sorry for late response and missing the thread, I added the code in functions.php (code in Private Content), and it works fine. Just to clarify, do you want to change your site’s url from http://example.com/wp to http://example.com ?

Best regards,
Nikko

Never mind, Nikko.
I figured it out. I went to PHPmyAdmin and changed the urls there.
Thanks anyway.

Best regards,

-Enrique.
