not a support questionI want to have different authors contributing to my website. Is it possible to manually customise the 'About the Author' section at the bottom of each post? Currently this is set so only 'admin' can post.
I don't want to add new accounts because some people will only contribute one off - I will directly add most of the articles myself.
I just want to edit and write a little bit about the author at the end of each post.

No, unfortunately the default "about the author" profile does not support custom text but it will display the profile information of the current user. You can use plugins like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/custom-about-author/ which allow you to use your custom profile text too.
