I was able to change the text on all of the contact page text except for the "your message has been sent" and "thank you"
I entered the following French text, hit save and the English text still appears:

<p><h3><?php _e('Votre message a été envoyé !','avisio'); ?> </h3> <?php _e('Merci!','avisio'); ?> </p>

while we're on the editing page:
I also had to change the English "Search" to the French "Recherche", below... but after saving, the "button" appears below the text box, not on the same level as it is for the English "Search". Is there a way to widen this button box to make the French text appear next to, on the same line as, the text box?

1) Please do not use special characters when you're editing html or php code. Try to replace the code above with:
<p><h3>Votre message a été envoyé !</h3>Merci!</p>2) Please add a with attribute to your search field like:
<input type="text" style="width:100px;" class='rounded text_input' value="<?php echo wp_specialchars($s, 1); ?>" name="s" id="s" />Just change the value of width so that the seachbox is displayed next to the button.

Hey Dude,
Thanks for your suggestions. #2 worked perfectly, the insertion of style="width:100px worked perfectly, But #1 didn't work, I am still getting the English after hitting the send button.
The surrounding code, sandwiching the code you suggested, looks like the following. (I haven't used any "special characters", just copied and pasted what was already there):

Sorry, I missed that you edited the wrong file. Please open send.php and change the text there. With special characters I mean letters with accent aigu, accent grave, etc. Obviously I can't enter the code here - the forum software converts it to the right letter. So I inserted # in the following code (several times), so that the letter code is displayed to you. Please remove the # before you paste it in your send.php.
