    Hello!

It’s me again… As in the demo here http://www.kriesi.at/themes/sentence/portfolio_entries/html/ wordpress unfortunetely uses “portfolio_entries” as the category-base slug for portfolio entries. The same issue shows up for blog entries as wordpress sets “category” for all archival listings. I want to rename this, do you know any general workaround or it is possible to change this with a rewrite-function in the theme’s framework? Thx again for your suggestions! :-)

    Greetings,

    Chris

I already managed to rename my category base “category” in the permalinks settings of wordpress. It is also possible to remove it completely with this one: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-no-category-base/

No it would be very great doing the same with “portfolio_entry” … I still have no idea where to look …

You can rename the slug by using the theme option panel (Go to Sentence > Theme Options > Portfolio and the first text field contains the slug). You can change the text to a custom slug for sure; however afaik you can’t remove the slug completely (eg by clearing the option field).
