    Hi – I am trying to change the font size of my Menu Descriptions (for example, the text under “Home”, “Portfolio”, etc) and the “Archives”, “Categories” and “Recent Posts” headers. I would also love to know how to change the “Large Header” font on the Portfolio pages. I have tried several things, including:

    .main_menu .menu li a span {font-size: 12px;}

    which have not worked. Any help you could provide would be great. Thanks!

    Hi caharmer,

    For the Menu Descriptions, try this code:

    .main_menu .menu li a span.main-menu-description {
    font-size: 10px;
    }

    or, this one if the code above doesn’t work:

    .main_menu .menu li a span.main-menu-description {
    font-size: 10px !important;
    }

    Just adjust the font size (default 11px)

    For the Large Header, try this code:

    #top .post-title.big_title {
    font-size: 40px;
    }

    or, this one if the code above doesn’t work:

    #top .post-title.big_title {
    font-size: 40px !important;
    }

    Just adjust the font size (default 53px)

    Hope this helps. :)

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Thank you so much! Both of these work. How would I change the “Archives”, “Recent Posts” and “Categories” font sizes? Thanks again!

    Oh, I just tried this and it worked:

    .widgettitle {

    font-size: 13px !important;

    }

    Although I’m not sure if it changed anything else by accident! The last thing I am trying to do is to make sub menu fonts larger (For example I have “Portfolio” in my main menu and if you hover over it, you can see “People” and “Places”).

    Thanks :)

    Hi caharmer,

    Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

    #top .main_menu .menu li ul a {
    font-size: 13px;
    }

    Hi Devin! Thanks for responding. I was trying some things out myself and found that this worked:

    .sub-menu a {

    font-family: “myfontname”; font-size: 14px !important;

    }

    I think I am all set now. Thanks for your help!

    Glad you got it figured out :)
