I want to be able to change the link and icon that is displayed when the mouse pointer hovers over an masonry gallery image. I also want to be able to add more than one option when the mouse hovers over, similar to the shop overview page in the theme demo. How can I go about doing this? Thanks!
You can change the icon that gets displayed when you hover over images by changing the image located in:
If you are using a different skin, it’ll be in that skin folder.
The other change is quite a bit more difficult and I’m not able to provide the code/steps as its a beyond what we can do as support. Just a guess on the direction to go, is you could add a custom field to your portfolio items and then make a call for that field(s) in the includes>loop-masonry.php file.
Thanks Devin! It looks like i’m going to have to learn some code for what I want to do. Could you recommend a good resource?
Personally I never found a good “all in one” resource. However google returns some useful results if you search for “php lessons for beginners”
