    Hi Angular team,

    I would like to create a ‘Basket’ icon within the social container that matches the style of the existing icons. Ideally the new basket icon would be double the width of an existing icon to make room for the word ‘Basket’ and an image of the basket icon.

    Please can you tell me if this is possible?

    If not, how would I replace an existing icon, ie the RSS icon, with my own basket icon (as I could then simply set the url for RSS to ‘/basket’ in theme options?

    Many thanks,

    Chris.

    Hello ccimaging!

    Can you post the link to basket icon you would like to use? And where do you want to link? To your WooCommerce “cart” page?

    Regards,
    Yigit

    Hi Yigit,

    http://www.iamanalogue.com/my-order/

    I figured out how to add and link the basket icon to the social container. I could only create a square icon? Is it possible to make this icon 2x the width?

    I also have a new question:

    Q) Is it possible to have the logo/partner list displayed vertically in the right sidebar?

    I want to display the ‘Our Services’ partner list at the bottom of this page in the right sidebar instead of at the bottom.

    Hi!

    Please add following code to Quick CSS in Angular theme options under Styling tab

    .social_bookmarks .rss { width: 84px;}

    But as you are using image sprite, you are going to need to edit it as well.

    Regards,
    Yigit

    Hi Yigit,

    Yes that has added a larger icon area, thank you. However, the icon still only scrolls 42px and not 84px. Please can you provide the quick css code to have the rss icon scroll by the correct amount?

    Any thoughts on the 2nd question regarding the logo/partner list?

    Many thanks,

    Chris.

    Hi Yigit,

    I am having some issues with toggle. Please take a look at this page. When you expand the 1st toggle, it is impossible to click on any of the content within the 1st toggle. Clicking on the 1st toggle opens up the 2nd toggle.

    How can this be fixed?

    Many thanks,

    Chris.

    Hi!

    You can add this:

    .social_bookmarks .rss:hover {
    background-position: -78px center;
    background-color: #ffa133;
    }

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

    The last piece of code has sorted the social button mouse over issue. Thank your very much! However, only half of the button is click-able and the top banner message is now missing the word ‘close’. Could you help providing a solution to this?

    Also, could you tell me how I can have just the twitter and facebook social icons open in blank windows?

    Could you please take a look at the other 2 problems I have raised, or would you prefer me to create a new topic for each of these other problems?

    SOLUTION to broken toggle I mentioned above = <br class=”clear” /> Didn’t realise this had to be added to clear the floats of the 1/4 columns. Perhaps adding a shortcode to ‘clear columns’ in the visual editor would be a good idea?!

    Kind regards,

    Chris.

    Hello!

    For the info text you can use:

    .infotext_wrap {
    padding-right: 170px !important;
    }

    For the social icons, you can add the _blank attribute to the links in your header.php around lines 130 to 134. See here for reference: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_a_target.asp

    Regards,
    Devin

    Hi Devin,

    1: Thank you for the piece of code to fix the banner message.

    2: I have tried to insert the blank attribute but the reference from w2schools you provided isn’t comparable to the theme’s href code.

    For example:

    The theme’s href is …

    if($facebook = avia_get_option(‘facebook’)) { $social ++; echo “<li class=’facebook’>“.__(‘Join our Facebook Group’, ‘avia_framework’).”“; }

    Which I changed to …

    if($facebook = avia_get_option(‘facebook’)) { $social ++; echo “<li class=’facebook’>“.__(‘Join our Facebook Group’, ‘avia_framework’).”“; }

    resulting is this error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /var/sites/i/iamanalogue.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/angular/header.php on line 124

    Where do I place the target=”_blank” attribute?

    Many thanks,

    Chris.

    Hello!

    Replace the default code with

    							if($dribbble = avia_get_option('dribbble')) { $social ++; echo "<li class='dribbble'><a target='_blank' href='http://dribbble.com/".$dribbble."'>".__('Follow us on dribbble', 'avia_framework')."</a></li>"; }
    							if($twitter  = avia_get_option('twitter'))  { $social ++; echo "<li class='twitter'><a target='_blank' href='http://twitter.com/".$twitter."'>".__('Follow us on Twitter', 'avia_framework')."</a></li>"; }
    							if($facebook = avia_get_option('facebook')) { $social ++; echo "<li class='facebook'><a target='_blank' href='".$facebook."'>".__('Join our Facebook Group', 'avia_framework')."</a></li>";	}
    							if($gplus    = avia_get_option('gplus'))    { $social ++; echo "<li class='gplus'><a target='_blank' href='".$gplus."'>".__('Join me on Google Plus', 'avia_framework')."</a></li>"; }
    							if($linkedin   = avia_get_option('linkedin'))    { $social ++; echo "<li class='linkedin'><a target='_blank' href='".$linkedin."'>".__('Add me on Linkedin', 'avia_framework')."</a></li>"; }

    and it should work.

    Regards,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,

    Yes, that code now opens the social buttons in new windows. Thank you!

    There is still 1 outstanding issue which is the ‘basket’ icon I added is only clickable on the right side. If you mouse over, you can click the word basket but not the little basket icon graphic. How do I make the whole of the button clickable?

    Many thanks for your continued support,

    Chris.

    Hey Chris!

    Please add following code to Quick CSS

    li.rss a { width: 84px!important; }
