I changed the permalinks for the site I’m working on (spiritlifespeaks.com/churchsite/) and now the portfolio page (teachings) items are delivering 404 errors. Any way to make the custom structure work?

    Thanks.

    Hey,

Do you use any redirecting plugins? Did you try other permalibnk structures – maybe WP can’t write the htaccess file correctly…

It was a permissions thing on the .htaccess file. They were 644. Thanks Duderino!

Hey scratch that, I kinda forgot what was going wrong. Portfolio items are still generating a 404 error when I have custom permalinks. I’m not using any redirect plug-ins either.

I am building the site in a sub-directory. I plan to move it once I get the bugs worked out. Any way this is the culprit?

I’m getting the same problem since updating permalinks… though I’m at a loss as to how to fix it!

    Hey,

please post links to your website. If you use WP 3.1 please update your themes to the newest versions (updates were released a few days ago).

I’m having this issue too, with post-name as permalinks.

    Here’s a link to my page: http://www.gennybeans.com/insight/downloads-2/corporate-media-2

    Any ideas?

    Hey,

gennybeans please update Avisio to version 1.2.x – at the moment you’re using Version 1.1. Version 1.2.x fixes the permalink bug.
