Changing time and date format of theme

Hi,

I use the DE version of Wordpress. However within the CORONA theme the date format is in English, for example in the "latest news"-widget:

instead of correctly

31. März 2011, 13.30 Uhr

and in posts, the date format seems to be German, but not correctly: a point after the day is missing:

31. März 2011

instead of

31 März 2011

Which files need to be edited, to get the correct date and the correct time?

hi,
for single portfolio i changed this:

echo "<span class='date-container minor-meta'>".get_the_time('d. M Y')."</span>";

a point after the d.

to find here:
themes/corona/includes/loop-portfolio-single.php

thanks a lot.

But I have searched for something like time or date in the single.php, and haven't found anything.

Isn't there a global possibility for changing the time/date format correctly?

Puh, it's really a lot of work to change the date/time in so many php files.

For "latest news" widget, for example class-framework-widgets.php

Does anybody know, how to change this global for the whole theme?

Hey,
unfortunately there's no global setting for times/dates as it is a standard PHP function used by the theme rather than a custom function created for the theme.

ok, thanks, I've looked in the relevant php files and changed it there, need to pay attention with theme updates ;-)

ich weiß gar nicht mehr genau, im Ordner "includes" müsste das die Datei loop-index.php in Zeile 55 sein:

super, hat geholfen soweit. bin echt fast verzweifelt.
ein problem noch: neben meinem blog/artikel habe ich rechts eine sidebar mit letzten news, glaube heisst relatet news... hier hab ich auch noch das datum/uhrzeit problem. weisst du zufällig wo das zu ändern ist?

Bin mir nicht sicher auf die Schnelle, guck mal in die

class-framework-widgets.php

im Ordner framework -> php

und da in Zeile 372 z.B.

Ist ein Unding, die alle immer wegen dem Datum durchsuchen zu müssen :-(
Beim Theme-Update ... na dann gute Nacht ;-)

Ich öffne da so nach und nach immer die PHP-Dateien, die irgendwie "Sinn" machen, also nach "widget" klingen wie bei deiner Frage eben, oder nach "post", "single", "comment" usw. - und öffne die dann mit NOTEPAD++ (Freeware, guter PHP-Editor übrigens!) und suche dann per STRG+F nach "Y" (also das Jahr) als Großbuchstaben. Da findest du dann relativ schnell solche Datumszeilen. Oder nach "time" suchen.
