    I am working on a new site here: http://fairfaxandpage.com/sales/

    I want the title container to be smaller so it the borders come in closer..if you understand what I mean. Spacing takes up too much room. I tried using Firebug and it changed it but when I put in the custom css, it did not work.

    Also, how can I add Pinterest icon to the social media?

    Thanks to you !

    I tried this: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/how-can-i-add-more-icons-to-the-social-media-panel

    but the icon never shows? What did I miss?

    thank you

    Well something is still wrong. The spacing for the title is still too large. I want it so the border lines are almost touching the title

    I removed the social icons and put them at the top of the page. Still no pinterest.

    Thanks for any help you can provide

    Hi,

    On the thread that you visited, did you supply the image for the pinterest icon?

    To decrease the white space, just add this on your custom.css

    #header .container {
    padding: 10px 0;
    }

    Adjust top and bottom padding.

    Regards,

    Ismael

    This code did not work see this page: http://fairfaxandpage.com/sales/current-sales/

    All of the grey border lines overlap one another. I want to fix that.

    If I move my mouse over the social icons at the bottom of the page: There is place that shows a link for pinterest, but no icon. I did put the icon in the folder

    this is the code I put in the footer:

    <li class=’pinterest’>“>/images/layout/picons73.png” />

    Hi elames,

    Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

    .title_container h1 {
    padding-top: 0px;
    padding-bottom: 0px;
    }

    For the pinterest icon, remove the img from your footer and instead use css to place the icon. Add this css to your custom.css or quick css:

    .social_bookmarks .pinterest a{background: transparent url(http://fairfaxandpage.com/wp-content/themes/propulsion/images/layout/picons73.png) 0 0 no-repeat;}

    Make sure that in your footer the list item has text for the link as well or else it may not show up properly. Ex: Find us on Pinterest.

    Regards,

    Devin

    I put this in the custom css but nothing shows up. Where do I add the text so it shows in the footer?

    How would I put the icon and link in the top social links?

    Hi,

    I looked in your custom.css file and saw no code in it. http://fairfaxandpage.com/wp-content/themes/propulsion/css/custom.css

    “Where do I add the text so it shows in the footer”

    It sounds like you are new to WordPress. Its a good idea to first familiarize yourself with the basics. You should watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuxWu1D3Mk4

    To answer your question about the footer: The footer is composed of columns whereby each column is a widget area (sidebar) You should watch this video for more info on widgets and sidebars -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1J3Pty8SDo

    In the backend if you click on Propulsion > Theme Options > Footer , you will be asked how many columns (widget areas/sidebars) you want to have in the footer. You currently have 4. Next go to Appearance > Widgets and on the right side you will see the 4 (or whichever number you selected of widget areas Footer- Column 1, etc… If you ‘open up’ the boxes for the columns, and then drag one of the widgets located on the left side of that page, you will add content to your footer. Again , please watch the videos I recommended to better understand basic WordPress functionality.

    Thanks,

    Nick
