    I’ve reduced the width of the sidebar on the homepage using custom.css, but I’m not sure how to increase the width of the main content area (slideshow and columns) to get closer to the sidebar.

    The site is leesilsbyrx.com.

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi ourkidsasd,

    You’ll need to modify a couple of different classes on the home page alone. Here are the main ones but you might need to modify the widths a bit to suit your liking:

    #top.home .content {
    width: 669px;
    }

    #top.home .slideshow {
    width: auto !important;
    }
    #top.home .grid_third1 {
    width: 203px;
    }

    Regards,

    Devin

    Great! It worked! Now just one more question, how can I apply this same width of the content area to the internal pages?

    Thanks a lot!

    In that case, you can just remove the #top.home from .content class. The grid_third1 and .slideshow may have issues but you might be able to get by without any major issues. Just let us know if you do have some and we can help out as best we can to fix up the layout at that point.

    Hi Devin,

    I deleted the #top.home, but it didn’t make a difference, i.e., the content area of the internal pages is still narrower than in the homepage. Compare leesilsbyrx.com with http://leesilsbyrx.com/specialties to see the difference.

    Can you suggest another code change?

    Thank you very much for your help!

    Hey!

    I just checked your site and both content widths seem to be the same. Did you solve the issue or am I missing something?

    Best regards,

    Chris
