Checkout form validation errors not displayed correctly

When a user goes to checkout, they enter their phone number 813.885.4259 instead of 813-885-4259, the validation error blends in with all the other text on the screen. The user can't see why they did not proceed to the next step so they assume the website is not working. They get very frustrated and we lose a sale.

I contacted WooThemes about this issue. They say it should display in a red box. So the question is why doesn't it show up like it is supposed to? http://www.tampabaysod.com

Hello Tina,

First time I've helped someone local! Glad to help a local Tampa Bay business :)

Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
```
.woocommerce_error {
border: solid #A62A2A 1px;
border-radius: 3px;
background: #EEB4B4;
padding-left: 7px;
color: black;
}
```
I did a quick style for the error area that WooCommerce creates. The theme styling, as its designed to be more simple than the default, removes the WooCommerce red error box. This will give a minor recreation of the effect and make it stand out more for you.
