Hello Kriesi team!
using Choices for this site > arteecollage.com
on Iphone the homepage presents with some issues:
1. the title of the page Welcome is shown
2. default slideshow of the homepage is not showing
3. column rules like [one_third] are showing up as also the [hr]
I’ve chosen the fixed layout on the Layout and Settings options but that did not seem to do anything as far as Iphone is concerned.
Is there a way to disable the Iphone responsiveness completely?
Thank you in advance for your help!April 25, 2013 at 3:08 am #115707
Selecting Fixed layout should disable the responsive functionality from the theme. If it didn’t right away, make sure you have cleared any browser caching plugins you have running and if you don’t have one running (but have in the past) you may need to delete it entirely from the plugins folder.
Looking at the site now I’m not getting any responsive functionality so that would be my guess why you weren’t seeing it after setting it.

Hello Devin and thanks for your answer,
Unfortunately this issue still exists; although I have selected fixed layout and this worked on ipad, i still get the following on iphone >
is this what you see on your end?
No cache plugins are even installed on the site; have deleted the packed version of WP-Super-Cache that comes initially with WordPress installation right from the start.
Also cleared Safari cache on iphone.
any other suggestions?

My guess would be you have a mobile specific plugin installed that is loading in a different mobile specific version of the site. The fact that the shortcodes aren’t getting rendered hints that the theme functions aren’t even being loaded so it could be a complete switch of themes at that point.
