    I need this page (http://ktstage.com/category/news/) to look like its link pages (click any hed) but I can’t figure out how to style it. I tried styling Landing page in the templates customization area, added a Blog” element and selected “News” but it has no effect. There doesn’t seem to be a place to style this or attach a template.

    Hi kthompson,

    There are two ways you can re-style that page. The first is to use css to target that specific page and then use the page category class as the first class in your selector.

    Eg:

    #top.archive.category-news .slideshow_color {
    background: #FFF;
    }

    And each css after starts with #top.archive.category-news to make it only effect that page.

    The other way would be to use a new php file template specific to that category. Following the template hierarchy (http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Hierarchy) category-{slug}.php should work where {slug} will be the slug name of that category.

    Regards,

    Devin
