   Hi,

   I would like to know how is the scaling effect on the Portfolio 1 Column implemented.
   Do you use any framework to implement it ?
   Any javascript libraries ?

   I would like to change it's behavior, so maybe you can point me to some resources.

   I am using your theme in a custom asp.net mvc project.

   The greyscale effect does not require a special framework but you need to generate two thumbnails (colored thumbnail + greyscale thumbnail). The code can be found in choices\functions-choices.php - search for following function:

   if(!function_exists('avia_image_upload_filter'))

   Afaik Kriesi uses the standard php/gdimage libary feature to generate the thumbnails.
