    Hi

    I’ve just added a second portfolio page to my site. That page is working fine after selecting the single portfolio category for that page (local professionals).

    The problem is that the other portfolio (herne bay recent sales) is now not loading in the correct date sequence as it was before. If I add the local professionals into the portfolio catergory for the other page, it loads the local professionals first, then the properties in the correct date sequence. The other odd thing is that the widget is still loading the recent sales in the correct order on all pages it appears.

    Can you please help with this.Site is http://www.lcoalagent.co.nz/hernebay

    Thanks

    Strange – please try to add following code to the bottom of functions.php

    function loop_portfolio_query( $location )
    {
    if ( $location == 'loop-portfolio' )
    {
    global $avia_config;
    if(isset($avia_config['new_query'])) {
    $avia_config['new_query']['orderby'] = "date";
    $avia_config['new_query']['order'] = "DESC";
    query_posts($avia_config['new_query']);
    }
    }
    }
    add_action( 'avia_action_query_check' , 'loop_portfolio_query', 10, 1 );

    If it doesn’t work please try to deactivate all third party plugins and check if this affects the order.

    Hi,

    Please install this plugin which will let you order anything in your theme any which way you want. http://wordpress.org/plugins/post-types-order/

    Thanks,

    Nick
