Since this morning, clicking on a portfolio item on my portfolio page directs me to the Error 404 page instead of the preview of the item. Any help is welcome, please.
I just discovered that when I deactivate and/or delete my Events Manager plugin, my portfolio items preview returns to normal. Yet, I really need this booking plugin else all the work I put in the theme will be rather wasted. Is there anything to be modified in my settings or theme….please help out.
Try activating the plugin, then going to Settings > Permalinks. On that page please change the permalinks to default and save. Then change the settings back to your current permalinks settings and then save. The portfolio and other CPT frequently require a reset when new rules were applied.
