    Hello everybody,
    I installed the enfold theme on a multisite installation and it took me a while to recoginze that the customized theme will not be forwarded to a new site within the network. A new site gets the original look of Enfold. Why this has to be as it is I do not know but it would be great to get asked if the design of an allready customized site should be forwarded to a new site. Well it is as it is. But: until tody I could not clone a design for a new site! Is this impossible? The reason for having the same design is that we are going to set up different language sites (like: /en /de /com etc.). So I am kindly asking for support with regard to my difficulties. NS-Cloner and other plugins could not do the job. Export of data (within the Enfold pre configuration) did not do the job. So summarized spoken: How can I get one new site within Enfold theme and multisite functionality looking like the firts customized site? Thanks!

    In additon: Any recently tested language plugin like Multilingual Press Pro (which is for free now) which works with Enfold and Multisite? Thanks again!

    Hey Buddyme!

    You can export the theme settings in Dashboard > Enfold > Import/Export and then import them in the same area for a different site.

    I’m not sure about the language plugin and multisite. We recommend using WPML.

    Hi Elliot,

    Thank you for your understanding. Your hint to export and than import the data to the new site does not work. Probably it should – but it does not. The new site (where I imported the exported_data.txt) remains the same original enfold theme!

    I have searched a while within the kriesi.at and internet in general and until yet could not come to an solution. Die you at Kriesi.at never cloned a site within a mulitisite?

    Could the function “Template” within the “Avia Layout” pressing “save as template” be a possible access to get a similiar second site? I tried this but it seems that it is only available as a template within the site I saved it as a template.

    Any ideas? Thanks again!

    hello together,
    I got it running with the https://wordpress.org/plugins/multisite-clone-duplicator/ – thanks! I tried this plugin before but got a SQL warning – I guess due to capitalization of the Database name or using a minus within its name – who knows! After changing to a new DB it worked! Thanks a lot!
