    Hi,

    I am always happy with the Kriesi themes except when it comes to how galleries are displayed especially on Coherence.

    Am I missing something? I can only get the gallery to display in ugly little thumbs without spacing.

    I have fixed it with manual css, but this is annoying.

    Why does the default WP gallery styles not work on the themes? Neither does NextGen Galleries – which is really useful and esthetic.

    Hi WynandB,

    Kriesi added in some styling for the built in gallery so that it matches the overall theme aesthetic. We’ve recent discussed it being removed and I think it has been taken out of some of the recent theme updates.

    You can do so manually by removing this bit of css in the base.css file lines 416-421:

    #top .gallery .gallery-item{
    margin:1px 1px 0 0;
    width:80px;
    height:80px;
    padding:0;
    }

    Regards,

    Devin

    I have another question regarding the gallery, how can I really center the text?

    Even in the demo site it is not centered.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hey!

    Add following css code into the quick css field:

    .slideshow_inner_caption {
    padding: 0 !important;
    }

    Regards,

    Peter
