Coherence Theme - Known Vulnerability?

Hi,
I am using the coherence theme on one of my sites and it was just hacked.
I can't access frontend or backend and I get this messsage: Warning: html_entity_decode() [function.html-entity-decode]: charset `UTF-7' not supported, assuming iso-8859-1 in /home/centerof/public_html/wp-content/themes/coherence/framework/php/function-set-avia-backend.php on line 536

Please advise if there is a fix for this. Thank you.

Hi sfimogul,

Always make sure you are running the most recent version of the theme. with Coherence, there was a security update not too long ago. This was version 1.3 and it updated the Framework files.

As for your situation now, there isn't a lot we can do for a site that has been compromised. You'll need to contact your hosting provider and they will be able to do a scan on your entire server. If there is any issue, they will be able to point it out.

You can download theme updates through Themeforest from your downloads then install the theme just like you first installed it to update the files. If you've made any changes to the theme files, make sure to back them up so you can re-apply them.

Thanks Devin, Hosting provider restored site and we created a backup for the future :o)
We also updated the site to version 1.3.
