    Loving the theme. Well done and Thanks.

    Just one snag so far and wondered if you could help…

    Above the slideshow I’d like to display Callout Text (on the left) and a Search Box (on the right).

    I thought I could do this by inserting a “Columns” element in the Frontpage template. Then select 2 columns: the first for text and the second for a Search Widget.

    But when I use the Columns element above the Slideshow element the slideshow pics are disrupted and pushed off to the right.

    If I insert a Horizonal Line element in between – it works – however the little navigation circles (bottom left of slideshow) disappear (the arrows at bottom right of slideshow remain).

    The original Callout element works perfectly with the slideshow – except I can’t get it to display the search box in position (that is on same line as text but on right hand side. I’ve changed the callout text to align left.)

    Can you think why this might be happening or best way to display text and search box (prefer to use widget) on home page above the slider without pushing anything out of the way?

    Bump.. in case you missed my question.

    can you set up a page with “The original Callout element” and post a link please. I’ll try to provide a css code solution.

    Thanks for your help Dude.

    Here’s a link to the page using the original Callout Element (currently showing text on aligned left with empty space on right for the Search box)

    If you need further access, just let me know.

    Thanks again.

    I played around with the Propulsion template builder today and I noticed that you can use this element without a workaround. Please use the “Heading + (Social Media and Search Bar)” element to add the social media bar & search box.

    Thanks for checking this out Dude.

    Almost there… I can use “Heading + (Social Media and Search Bar), however doing that causes a horizontal rule to appear before the slideshow and the little navigation circles under the slideshow (bottom left of slideshow) still disappear.

    I’ll leave the page like that at the above address so you can have a look.

    Appreciate the help.

    The controls will display if you hover over the slideshow. You can make them visible with following code:

    .ctrl_previous, .ctrl_next, .ctrl_pause_play, .arrow_controls.slide_controls, .numeric_controls.slide_controls{
    display: block !important;
    opacity: 1 !important;

    Hi again Dude,

    Sorry, I meant that it was when we scrolled over the pics that the navigation circles didn’t appear. But the arrows did.

    I tried the code you sent and the result was that the arrows became static and were displayed, but the circles are only displayed when you scroll over the picture. Was that the intended result? Can both the circles and the arrows be displayed all the time?

    Is there a way to delete the horizontal rule that has appeared before the slideshow when now using the “Heading and Search” element? It didn’t appear when using the callout element.

    Thanks again for your time.

    Hi …. I would also like to know how to get rid of the horizontal rule. Cheers :)

    Hi bisrandom,

    This will remove it for the whole site since the title container is a class used at top of most of the pages. If you wanted to target it specifically for a page, you would need to know the page id or if its home replace that with just home.

    For all:

    .title_container {
    border-bottom: 0px !important;

    Specific page: .title_container {
    border-bottom: 0px !important;

    many thanks Devin

    Glad that Devin could help you :)
