    Unfortunately users aren’t able to leave a comment on some of my blog entries.

    On older blog pages it’s still possible to leave a comment (see for instance http://www.lenitas.org/vanadium/) but since than, all blog entries are missing this opportunity (for instance this entry http://www.lenitas.org/kalium/) .

    Under settings / discussion comments are allaowed.

    Any suggestions why this could happen.

    Hi goldon!

    Are you sure in Dashboard > Settings > Discussion that your not disabling comments for posts after a certain amount of time?

    Also when you edit the post there will be a checkbox “Allow comments” near the bottom, make sure it is checked.

    Hello Elliott,

    I’ve got the same problem. On a new post, the comments box doesn’t appear. Under Settings > Discussion, the “Allow people to post comments on new articles” is checked. On the post itself, under Discussion, “Allow comments.” is checked. You can see the post here:

    That said, I think I might know what causes the bug: the new post–the one without the comments option–uses the Avia Layout Builder, while the previous posts do not. Please advise.

    Please add Comments element manually to the bottom of your blog posts that you created using Advanced Layout Builder
