    At the bottom of our posts, when there has been a comment or a trackback, the information is being placed above the bottom of posts.

    Here is an example:

    Is there a way to correct this?

    Thank you

    Hi,

    I’m not certain where you want to move everything but you can move the

    below the line.

    Open up comments.php found in your includes folder.

    Now find

    <div class='comment-entry post-entry'>

    Add this below the line you’ve just found:

    <div class="clearboth">&nbsp;</div>

    I hope this helps :)

    Yeah – we just wanted to move it below the line as it currently straddles it.

    I see you haven’t changed it yet, didn’t it work? What I described previously should move it below the line. Let us know if it works :)

    Hi – we did try it but it didn’t work. When looking at the other pages the comments are formatting fine, so we think it’s actually a Track-Back issue.

    Looking at the page the modification isn’t set at all, try applying the change, then change the template used by the page to some other template – then change the template back again to what it was originally. (Note, I’m saying template because I mean Post Template and not the entire Theme).

    It really should work.

    #56816

    Ok – will try again…

    I went into the comments.php and inserted the code but it did not work. If the title of the comment was longer than a line it pushed upward into the area of the content above.

    I inserted the same code into loop-comments.php as follows:

                <div class=’comment_content’>

    <div class=”clearboth”> </div>

    This fixed the problem.

    Ah, sorry to have missed it – I must’ve misread the file title – so many windows open at once.

    Good to see you’ve solved the issue! Thanks for sharing!
