I purchased a code canyon plugin for creating custom post types, taxonomies and meta boxes. the URL to the plugin is:

    http://codecanyon.net/item/easy-custom-content-types-for-wordpress/234182

When it is enabled I can no longer insert images, Gravity Formss or anything with an “insert into post’ type of functionality.

I’m using an old display version But I’ve changed a ton of the code, templates, added new functions and simple updating isn’t an option.

I did upload the latest version to activate and test and am having still the same problems. When I insert into post an image the dialogue window goes blank and just hangs. When I insert a Gravity Forms it simply just doesn’t respond.

Any suggestions? I’ve contacted the other developer and says it is probably a theme specific conflict with a media function. Thats where my experience ends… thanks in advance.

    Hey,

as far as I know Kriesi didn’t touch the standard featured image function for the Display theme. It sounds like a jquery/js conflict – maybe ask the plugin author if he uses a script which might influence the standard featured image function or thickbox popup uploader/function.
