Conflict with transparent header and animated countdowm

Hi. I recently recevied help on keeping the header transparent when it shrinks on a page scroll down. I followed the instructions provided in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/glassy-transparent-header/#post-310605

however, when I make that modification to the avia.js file, it prevents the animated countdown timer from working.

just wondering if you are aware of this? and if you can receommend a solution?

I have built a static comming soon page at http://mindsparkconsulting.com and want to keep a transparent header in all browsers at all times, and I want to use the countdown timer to show when I will be done with updates.
