not a support questionI really liked this theme, until I started trying to set my featured images.
It seems that all of the images I use in my blog from now on MUST be the EXACT same size or this theme will do everything it can to make sure they look as horrible as possible if selected as a feature image. Somehow, I missed that on the feature list when I bought it.
The theme will resize your images if they're bigger than the defined thumbnail sizes (all thumbnail sizes are defined in functions.php). If the aspect ratio of the thumbnail doesn't equal the aspect ratio of the original image wordpress will crop the image. You can try to change the image dimensions in functions.php - afterwards regenerate the tumbnails with: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
