I’m using Contact Form 7 to run a number of extra forms on http://kathiemelocco.net.au I have an issue with a redirect not working on http://kathiemelocco.net.au/free-downloads/ Users should fill in the form and redirect to a download page. I have checked with the Contact Form 7 team that the form and the redirect at the bottom of it, on_sent_ok: “location = ‘http://www.kathiemelocco.net.au/resources/’;” is valid.
One suggestion was to add this line of code to the footer: <?php wp_footer(); ?>
I have done that. Are there any conflicts with Broadscope that might stop the redirect from working? It simply reloads the current page rather than redirecting.

I’m not familiar with Contact form 7’s js code and callback functions but I haven’t noticed a conflict yet. Maybe you have a jquery conflict on your website because you’re loading an old libary at the bottom:
But jquery is loaded by Brightbox on the top already. You can remove the wp_footer function because Kriesi already included it in the theme. Only bad themes don’t offer wp_head and wp_footer hooks.May 31, 2011 at 2:17 am #46474
Thanks, Dude. I’ll remove that old bit of library code and fingers crossed it all doesn’t break :-)
It’s possibly there because Broadscope is the third theme I’ve used for my client.

Hi again Dude
I can’t find that bit of script you mentioned above. I realise it’s not part of the theme but would you be able to tell me which file to edit to hunt it down and kill it?

Ok – the script is just loaded on this page: http://kathiemelocco.net.au/free-downloads/
I think it’s loaded by a Mailchip Plugin or widget.June 1, 2011 at 7:59 am #46479
