Hi hightechlowlife,

Can you try using a plugin like Contact Form 7 to test if the default wp_mail function is working on your server. Download and set it up and give it a quick test.

If that doesn't work as well, check with your hosting service to see if they can help adjust your server to properly handle wordpress's default mail function wp_mail. Hosts are usually familiar with it and can assist in making sure things are set up on their end to process things correctly.

I had problems with sending e-mails from certain domains I used. Turns out there was a setting problem on the server that the hosting company needed to solve. I am not saying you have the same problem but I would try Contact Form 7 first like Devin suggested.
