Instead of using the built in contact form that comes with Shoutbox I decided to use Contact Form 7. In Theme Options > Contact & Social Stuff I simply left the Contact Form Page to Select Page and didn't enter an email address in the next field, but it will obviously default. I activated Contact Form 7, built my template and deleted the old Contact Page and created a new page called Contact Us where I put the Contact Form 7 code into.
I fill out all the fields and hit send, it confirms that it sent, but the email never arrives.
