If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I am having a lot of trouble with the Contact Form showing up on pages I do not want them to show up on.
Is there somewhere on the page template that I can remove some code to make this happen?
My site is http://vintagesoundcabs.com
The Contact Form shows up in the Shopping Cart page. This is not related to the plugin itself.
Any guidance you can offer would be much appreciated.
The contact form should only be showing on the page you have selected in the Contact Options page of the theme options. So if its showing up in multiple places my guess would be a plugin is somehow causing a weird conflict. I’m not familiar with that shop plugin so I couldn’t guess on an actual fix if that is the case.
You are right, there must be a conflict. Is there a way to remove the functionality/trace of the contact form code/files?
If you just don’t select a page in the theme options for the contact form then it should remove it from use completely.
Yeah, it’s not working for me….no page is selected, but still I see them on certain pages…
Please open up wp-contentthemesdisplaypage.php and replace
if ($post->ID == $k_option['contact']['contact_page']) $contactpage = true;
else if ($post->ID == $k_option['blog']['blog_page']) $blogpage = true;
if ($post->ID == $k_option['blog']['blog_page']) $blogpage = true;
This should remove the contact form from all pages.
