    Hello,

My contact page at remcopress.com is not sending emails. Can you help? Let me know what other info you need. I’ve checked all the settings but nothing is going through.

    Thanks!

    Hi Tonyska

Do you know if your wp_mail is working OK?

You could try this to test:

Hey thanks for the fast response!

I assume it is not OK, I keep getting a Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE

in the line 8, which is the line where I enter my email address.

How do I go about fixing this? Thanks again.

Weirdness… if I remove the form fields for the name and email, and just leave the message field, it works.

If I put the form fields for name and email after the message field, it does not work.

Remove the two form fields, and it works again. Of course, I have no idea who sent the message this way.

Any ideas as to a solution? Thanks!

Also, I tried installing both Contact Form and Contact Form 7 plugins, they did not send the email. So far the only option that has worked is the Angular contact form, but only after I removed two of three form fields.

That error may be happening due to copy and pasting – try changing the ” ” in line 8 and use single quotes ‘ ‘

Your hosts (Dreamhost?) may be causing the fault:

    Hi Tonyska,

As slackbladde mentioned, contact your hosting provider and ask them if they can assist in checking out your servers mail function.

Another thing to try is changing the email address used for your wordpress admin account and the one in the email form field with the theme to an account based at that domain ( (Email address hidden if logged out) ). The host may have spam prevention which is block the script from sending mail from your server from an address not hosted there.

    Regards,

    Devin
