Is there any way to change the map location on the Contact Page? I wanted it to point to the business address.

Would also like it to be in English.

    Thanks!

I think you have to go to GOOGLE maps and put in your address and then get the embedded code, copy and paste that into your page where it is asked for. I have not used this page yet so I am not totally sure, but it has to be similar to this.

    Good luck.

Sorry , I tried to edit my post but it won’t let me. I guess my original thought is not correct. I have been trying to find out how to get the map on my contact page as well and I have not found the way. I now think it is a plug in from reading another thread. But again…not sure.

Here is the plug in link: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/pronamic-google-maps/

Maybe this will help you. You need the latitude and longitude from your address to set it up.

Ok I think I solved this. If you go to the Contact page in the Imported Data Contact page provided, Go to the FEATURED MEDIA section below the editing area for the page.

This is the coding in there:

    <iframe width=”425″ height=”150″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” marginheight=”0″ marginwidth=”0″ src=”http://maps.google.at/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=de&geocode=&q=Infinite Loop, Cupertino, CA, United States&aq=1&oq=infinity loop&sll=58.204157,46.338215&sspn=0.056804,0.023539&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Infinite Loop, Cupertino, Santa Clara, California 95014, Vereinigte Staaten&ll=37.331698,-122.030751&spn=0.020048,0.023539&t=m&z=14&output=embed”></iframe>

So I was actually correct. You need to go to Google maps, set up your address then go to the LINK and get your code. Copy and paste it into that same area.

see my page where I did this: http://bluemontinluray.com/contact/

Here is the code I put in:

    <iframe width=”425″ height=”200″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” marginheight=”0″ marginwidth=”0″ src=”http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=18 Campbell Street, Luray, VA&aq=0&oq=18 campbell street luray va&sll=38.685448,-78.452459&sspn=0.916528,2.113495&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Campbell St, Luray, Page, Virginia 22835&t=m&ll=38.67566,-78.45706&spn=0.023453,0.036478&z=14&iwloc=A&output=embed”></iframe>

Thanks for posting your solution :)

That is the correct way to do it! You’re putting the iframe code into the featured media so that it shows up in the page. I’ll see if we can make the documentation a bit more clear on this for others.

    Regards,

    Devin
