    Hey great work with everything you guys do.

    On my contact page I would like to change some of the information the client puts in. How would I go about making some of these changes?

    I understand how to change the words, but do I need to do anything specific to the code? There seems to be a lot of very specific coding within contact.php. I’m trying to learn so anything you explain please do so in a newbie friendly way.

    Website change to Phone number

    Also, one other thing… I still cant get my cuber to work on the front page. I have checked and rechecked my pathing. everything seems to be in the right folders. What am i missing?

    Hey,

    in contact.php replace:

    <label for="website">Website</label>

    with:

    <label for="website">Phone number</label>

    and in send.php replace:

    Website: $the_website <br /><br /

    with:

    Phone number: $the_website <br /><br /

    Re Cu3er image problem:

    As far as I can se you didn’t change the image paths. Please use absolute image paths as urls. Absolute paths will point directly to the image so if an user enters this path in his browser adress bar the browser will show this image.

    I.e this is an absolute path to an image: http://www.kriesi.at/themes/broadscope/files/2011/03/front1.jpg

    Thx for the info on the contact page. Quick and simple for me to do! I appreciate your help on that.

    Cuber

    ok, so do I change the image path form index.html? or from config.xml?

    If it is in index.html where do I add this absolute image? Im assuming near line 61..

    <div id=”featured”>

    <div id=”featured_image”>

    </div><!–end featured_image–>

    OR

    If it is in config.xml, do I need to have an absolute path for each of the images that are on the cuber? Im assuming near line 35

    Hey,

    you must replace the image pth in config.xml. So i.e. replace: html/files/FrontPage/BoBProductions.jpg with a direct url to the image (like http://www.myboxofbrilliance.com/….)

    #42187

    I read about what an absolute path is. From what I understand it is just like what I have written below.

    But this doesnt seem to be working out for me…

    Things I’ve tried…

    <url>http://www.myboxofbrilliance.com/html/files/FrontPage/BoBProductions.jpg</url&gt;

    <url>http://www.myboxofbrilliance.com/files/FrontPage/BoBProductions.jpg</url&gt;

    <url>http://www.myboxofbrilliance.com/html/BoBProductions.jpg</url&gt;

    I uploaded the original cuber coding and it works fine…

    Is there something else I need to change in index.html?

    #42188

    Are you sure that the urls are correct? If try to open http://www.myboxofbrilliance.com/html/files/FrontPage/BoBProductions.jpg or http://www.myboxofbrilliance.com/files/FrontPage/BoBProductions.jpg in my browser I get a 404 not found error…

    #42189

    The location of my files is as follow.

    html/files/frontpage/”Images Im using for Cuber”

    I have also tried putting those files here.

    html/”Images im using for Cuber”

    I have ALL that info stored on my hosts server…

    By the way, I have tried sending myself a message from the contact us page on my website. Everything comes in fine except for the message part. I get the name, email address and phone number, but no message.

    The problem is that I can’t access the images under the url you posted. So the slider also can’t and it won’t display any images. Please check the path. As long as you can’t view the image in your browser the slider can’t display it.

    Hello!

    I have the same problem – i want to delete the “website” field in the contact.php, but there is no “label” in the contact.php ….. here is my contact.php:

    <?php

    $pageinfo = array(‘full_name’ => ‘Contact Form’, ‘optionname’=>’contact’, ‘child’=>true, ‘filename’ => basename(__FILE__));

    $options = array (

    array( “type” => “open”),

    array( “type” => “group”),

    array( “name” => “Contact Page”,

    “desc” => “”,

    “type” => “title_inside”,

    “id” => “hidden”

    ),

    array( “name” => “Contact Page”,

    “desc” => “The Page you choose here will display the Contact Form in addition to the normal page content:”,

    “id” => “contact_page”,

    “type” => “dropdown”,

    “subtype” => “page”),

    array( “name” => “E-Mail adress”,

    “desc” => “Enter the Email adress where mails should be delivered to. (default is ‘”.get_option(‘admin_email’).”‘)”,

    “id” => “email”,

    “type” => “text”,

    “std” => get_option(‘admin_email’)

    ),

    array( “type” => “group”),

    array( “type” => “close”)

    );

    $options_page = new kriesi_option_pages($options, $pageinfo);

    may you can help? =))

    Hey @Bataleon,

    The code you’ve pasted is from /theme_options/contact.php (this is the file that sets up the Contact page options fields in WP Admin); the file you need to edit is /template_contact.php to adjust the fields on the form.

    Let us know if you’re still running into problems.
