If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I’m trying to figure out how to create new ‘rows’ of content for the front page of my Incarnation theme. The part I’m having trouble with is that I want these rows to have a unique color that extends to the edges of the screen. Very similar to how the kriesi.at homepage is currently set up.
Please let me know how I could accomplish this.
Can you please post a screenshot of what you’re trying to do? Looks like you need to hire a freelance developer to modify the layout of the theme.
I just figured out that I could use the ‘page split’ element in the dynamic editor to switch from the main color scheme to the alternate color scheme.
OK, my next follow-up question, in the dynamic editor, how can I get the ‘Columns’ functionality (which allows me to display Widgets, Single Post from Category, etc) but with the option to show only one 100% width column? For example, how can I display a single widget that takes up 100% of the width. The Columns element allows me to do 2 of these widgets side by side, 50% and 50%, but don’t see how to display just one.
